Dr. Tereasa Ballay was born in Virginia. Subsequently,
her early childhood was spent in Nebraska. At the age of 9, she moved
to Arlington, Texas where she later graduated from High School. Her
first year in college was in Nevada, Missouri attending Cottey College.
She transferred back to Texas Women’s University to complete
the pre-med program, majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Biology.
Her goal of becoming a doctor was fulfilled in 1997 when she graduated
University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Residency followed
at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Ballay became Board Certified in Pediatrics
in October, 2000. Since that time, she has practiced in 2 different
pediatric offices in East Texas. Dr. Ballay is married and has
2 young girls. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling,
swimming, skiing, scrap-booking, and photography.
Dr. Ballay has enjoyed opportunities to participate
in community service including Diabetes Camp for Youth, and a mission
trip to Mexico. She looks forward to continuing to share her talents
and love in her new community.
