Candace J. Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Ohio, the youngest of eight brothers and sisters.

She attended undergraduate school at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

Dr. Johnson went to Medical school at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.

She completed her Pediatric and Adolescent Residency at the

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

After braving the cold and snow for three years, she moved to Statesboro, GA.

She spent the next 2 years taking care of infants and adolescents in both

the office and hospital settings.

Dr. Johnson moved to Atlanta in 2003 and worked in a pediatric practice in Lithonia, GA.

She came to ABC Pediatrics in May 2008 as a Locum (substitute) physician, and

decided to stay on permanently.
